Petit Verdot has traditionally been considered a blending variety but when it is unique and compelling it deserves to be bottled on its own. We have a solitary row of this variety and find that it makes an expressive and exceptional wine. It exudes elements of blackberry compote, lingonberry, milk chocolate, baking spices and fresh cedar. The palate is full and rich with well structured tannins that make it exceptional on its own or it pairs well with a wide range of rich and savory dishes.
