The spectacular vintage of 2013 allowed us to make the first Late Harvest wine in Varozza history. The fruit was harvested at 30 Brix and was sticky sweet and concentrated with amazing fruit flavors. The resulting wine is a brilliant gold color and it has aromas of spiced apple cider, vanilla and backing spices. On the palate, it tastes reminiscent of apple pie, with textures that are creamy and sweet, viscous and integrated, all while being light on its feet. This wine is perfect on its own after dinner, with cheese, or paired with fruit based desserts.
