The old vines that are used to craft this wine consistently deliver intense characters that make for an incredibly concentrated wine. The color is a rich, dark purple hue reminiscent of blackberries. The nose opens to aromas of dark chocolate and bramble fruits. The palate is met with broad, silky textures and flavors of roasted coffee and black earth. The tannins are substantial, yet integrated seamlessly in their youth and will carry this wine for decades.
